He also filed issue 1994 which shows that it was fixed in r10528 on Mon Aug 9
at 11:58:01.

However, I don't see r10528 listed in any of the CHANGES files for the 1.0.x
or 1.1.x branches. Maybe one of the developers can comment on the best
approach for determining whether or not this fix ever made it into a formal
release.
