Yes... That is exactly what I meant. Let me give an example(on Unix).
Say I am working on a product XYZ. (Let me use some clearcase terms
now). I create a view and work on this. Checkout some files.
   On the same machine, I create a second view and work on the same
files. But the earlier checkout files should not be available to me,
in this view. That is there will be a configuration file associated
with each view and based on the rules in these files, the file should
be visible in these views.
  So, when I come out from these view/session, none of thle file
should be visible for me.

   The product will be available on a file system, like NFS.
