svn_load_dirs

Greetings!

I'm trying to setup a repository for tracking changes to some libs, and I have
a question about the use of svn_load_dirs that is a bit unclear. The main
question is, does svn_load_dirs also perform the merge or just update an
existing dir? IOW, do I first have to merge the local changes into the new
sourcetree or does svn_load_dirs (try to) do that?
