Nothing special about Debian, all that is done by the install is to install
the binaries and libs. All other setup (creating repositories, configuring
servers, etc) is up to you.

I'm pretty fond of TortoiseSVN on MS Windows, under Debian I only use the
commandline, though there (AFAIK) a plugin for konqueror that might do the
same as TSVN.

apt-cache search editor ;)
