We don't resolve bugs not in our bug database. If someone has a
problem with our software, they file their bugs with us.

From the bug, a comment by Ben Collins-Sussman (a Subversion developer):
'The workaround here is "don't do that". In
general, it's safe to upgrade svn libraries. In this very specific
case of 1.0.9, it's not safe.'

I'd say that answers your question.

We don't have this problem on trunk anymore however, so at least as
soon as 1.2 comes out the argument does not hold anymore.
