A new information

On my Cygwin bash i can write any "é" or "è".

I think the problem is in my charset configuration, how can i solve this
?

Hello

I attempt to make this an i have got the same result.
My server is running on a Windows XP with a cygwin install (and i use
the cygwin subersion package).
And i use for adding files the svnserve -t witch is invoked by the
tortoiseSVN client.

Please help ! :)

Stéphane,

What kind of box does the server run on? Also WinXP?

If it's some kind of *NIX box, try setting the environment variable
LC_CTYPE to something useful.

For example:

  export LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.ISO8859-1
  svn checkout file://repo/OWTec
