what proxy server for a svn cache ?

Hello,

We want to use subversion on multiple sites. So we intend to have a server on one site, and use a web cache for the other site, as we don't have much network bandwidth.

Trying this with squid, i have noticed that cache headers are not sent. It is already reported in the issue 971, which is unfortunately still opened and unscheduled:

So my question is: what other proxy web cache would you suggest, better than squid, to have a efficient cache for subversion ?
