When we first decided to switch over from VSS, there was of course lots
of confusion and resistance, especially when people found out there are
currently no exclusive locks (I conveniently failed to mention that when
describing Subversion at first, becuase I knew people would balk at it
after using VSS's model for so long).

However, we have now been using Subversion for a couple months and
everyone loves it. People are so much more willing to properly
version-control their work instead of just keeping it in their home
directory or hard drive like they did with VSS. And my headaches have
dropped exponentially since I no longer have to restore corrupted VSS
repositories every month or two.
