Ok, it was the firewall.
We had already stopped the Firewall, but only with the
Deinstallation of the Firewall we get subversion to run.
Confuse is the error message, normally if the Firewall
blocked the access, we get the error message "no host"
or something similar!
The f-secure Firewall and Windows ME are to be worked
a bad combination over with subversion.
