No, symlinks only, not hardlinks. But the door has been opened to
support other types of 'special' unix files, such as hardlinks, devices,
and so on. It wouldn't be terribly hard to add that support, now that
we have a framework in place for it. Come to the dev@ list and submit
patches. :-)
