Maybe you should think about it in terms of the spirit of free software. If you don't have time to report the bug, why should you expect someone else to? Make a contribution to the evolution of this project and as a user and hence supporter of free software, do your duty and follow up on the necessary actions. And it probably is easier to do than you initially think, especially with the free support you will get from like-minded individuals who are more active than you or I.
cheers,
Simon

Ben,
I am afraid that I don't have the time or desire to register on a new
discussion list and engage in discussions with developers to convince
them that this change is needed. I just wanted to pass on a comment to
help improve this product and then leave the decision to implement, or
not to somebody else.
So, I don't intend to take any further action on this, but this doesn't
mean I don't think it is a good idea.
Regards, Tim.

Come to the dev@ list and try to get a consensus among developers. If
you can persuade, the task will be filed in the issuetracker. :-)
