Failed Clark Connect Install - Was: Re: Seriously! There is no FAQ!!

Ah... It appears possibility number 2 and number 4 were both correct.

Ok here's the question:
"Has anyone ever installed the Subversion Server onto a Clark Connect
box?" I tried it. Install went ok but when I tried to create the
repository:
svnadmin create
I got an error that seemed to indicate that the Native Posix Thread
Library isn't installed.
If anyone has come across this problem, which of the many solutions in
the "FAQ from the website" did they attempt?

- Rebuild db4 for the kernel you're using. (Aww, crap really?)
- Use a RedHat 9 kernel. (I thought Clark Connect was using a RH9
Kernel)
- Apply the NPTL patches to the kernel you're using. (Sure, can't seem
to find the site that tells me how do I do that.)
- Use a recent (2.5.x) kernel with the NPTL support included. (Ok but I
can't seem to find the CC source code from their site, just ISO's and
Network install floppies)
- Check if environment variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is set to 2.2.5, and if
so, unset it before starting Subversion [Apache]. [You usually would set
this variable to run Wine or Winex on RedHat 9] (Not planning on using
Apache for this setup)

Please, please, please, dear jebus, I hope someone has hit this wall and
found a way around it. Every option sounds painful.

Thanks;
