I don't like to post off topic messages but you may be
interested to know about Microsoft next move.
It may also be of some interest to devolpers of
Subversion clients for Microsoft's IDEs.

l/vsts-team.asp

One *notorious* paragraph is the one that says

'''
Visual Studio Team Foundation includes an enterprise-class source control
provider that picks up where Visual SourceSafe leaves off. It is reliable,
scalable, fast, more securable, extensible, and includes almost all of the
easy to use Visual SourceSafe features with which you and your team are
already familiar.
'''

(Visual Studio Team Fundation will be part of the
to-be-released Visual Studio 2005)

Regards,
-Hernán.
