Time for version control, sounds like.

When you guys get the "latest canonical version" of this script sorted
out, can you post it here & clearly label it as such? Then we'll
check it into the svn repository under contrib/, so you can work with
it under version control in the future, and there won't be any more
confusion.

Should have done this earlier, sorry for not seeing what was
happening.
