Note that I meant "svnadmin hotcopy" /instead/ of shutting down Apache.
I guess you know that. Anyway, sure, if you're happy with shutting down
Apache during the backup, then the hotcopy would be redundant
(inefficient, whatever). But you do need to make sure that nobody can
use, say, local access during the backup.
