It fell over after several more hours. I believe it was around the 4
million file mark (or it could have been greater. We have a LOT of files
starting with "ty" so the t\ty directory became quite large). The script
had once again used 2GB of RAM overnight, crashing the Perl interpreter.

I believe that our only approach now is to do a fresh import into SVN of the
latest version of our code when the time comes to switch over and keep a
read-only version of the SourceSafe database for historical reasons.

Thanks for all your efforts and time though, Toby. It was most appreciated.
