RE: Updating RedHat 9 RPMs to 1.0.3

I just upgraded using the same rpm's and didn't get any such issue - my
repository files are owned by nobody (same user that apache is running
as) and this was not effected by the subversion upgrade.

Subject: Updating RedHat 9 RPMs to 1.0.3

Hello

I just updated to SVN 1.0.3 using the RPMs at:

http://summersoft.fay.ar.us/pub/subversion/latest/

Afterwards I wasn't able to connect through http. I saw in the Apache
error.log that after updating the RPMs (as root necessarily) that the
/var/svn/repos/db/__db.xxx files were now owned by root:root although
before the update they werre owned by apache:apache.

Should the update scripts in the RPMs not keep the ownership of the
files to prevent this problem?

Best regards,
Jan Nielsen
