Subversion with Emacs

My project leader is looking for a subversion mode for emacs. The
mailing list doesn't seem to have anything recent, and I've only found
this http://xsteve.nit.at/prg/vc_svn/ on the web. Steve's script says
it has only been tested with svn version 0.33. Do other people have
experience with it in later version, or have scripts known to work with 1.0?
