Argh, read permissions. I *had* read the book, but I misread that
chapter. It seemed to me to refer ONLY to MULTIPLE repository access
modes, which I thought didn't apply to me, so I skimmed through it only.
Thank you for pointing me to it. I guess it's mostly to blame on own
stupidity for not reading properly and not the book's lack of clarity.

Again, thanks, it's working just fine right now.. and I *do* normally
rtfm before asking on mailinglists :P
