Berkeley DB error - Not enough space

Today one of our dev's reported that he got an error message when doing an
update:

"Berkeley DB error /path/in/repos - Not enough space" (or similar)

After doing a second update all went fine.

Is this a working copy or server repository problem? Any idea why it
happened? Is it suggested to take any special precautions (besides normal
backups)?

Server: Subversion 1.0.2 running svnserve.exe on Win XP Pro SP1
Client: Win XP Pro SP1 using TSVN 1.0.4
