hvn verify hangs?

Hi all,

Today, I had Windows crash while running an svn ci via TortoiseSVN. I
immediately stopped Apache on the SVN server, and then moved the entire
repository directory out the way (as there are other repositories
running on that server that others need access to), and restarted
Apache.

I then ran 'svn verify' on the respository structure that was move out
of the way - and it just sits there, without producing any output...

Any ideas as to where I should proceed from here?

(SVN 1.0.2 on FreeBSD 4.9 STABLE, accessing the repositories through
TortoiseSVN 1.0.4/WebDAV/HTTPS.)

Cheers,
