Subversion error "Can't determine the user's config path" on windows

Hi everyone,

I have a Windows laptop which is normally integrated in a windows domain
and I have a drive H: on the server, which is my home dir.

In work, subversion (better said: TortoiseSVN) works fine without
problems. But when I take the laptop home to work there, the error
"Can't determine the user's config path" occurs everytime I try a
subversion action, either in TortoiseSVN or in the svn command line
utilities.

I tried to deinstall TortoiseSVN at work and install it at home, to
trick it, but on installation it tells me, drive H: is missing.

Has someone an explanation, or better, a solution, how to use svn at
home?

Thanks in advance!

CU all,
Jens
