It is important to note that there is a known problem with XP's TCP/IP stack
that requires a specific patch to fix. The Malformed Network Data seems to be
corrupting the WC, leading to the subsequent problems. It may be useful to be
able to gain access to the WC for someone who knows what they are looking for to
diagnose what was corrupted.

For all of the people who are experiencing this problem, anyone wanting to fix
it would have to have a great deal more information. Specifically:

1) Server O/S, patch level, and drive format (NTFS/FAT32)
2) Server Subversion release
3) Other services running on server (specifically AV software)
4) Mode of operation (Apache, ssh)
5) Client O/S, patch level, and drive format (NTFS/FAT32)
6) Client Subversion release
7) Client services running (specifically AV software)

Without a reproduction recipe, i.e. all the above information and more, it is
going to be very difficult to make this work correctly.

And of course the other suggestion is to move [at least] the server to a more
robust platform (i.e. almost any Unix variant).

John
