RE: Auto-setting properties on new files?

I'm fairly new to svn and am looking at turning on enable-auto-props, but
this has to be done on client machine, correct? Is there no way to enable
auto-props in a server's configuration so that these settings don't have to
be explicitly turned on for every client machine?

Thanks,
Glenn
