In all honesty, that question is a fair one. It's not a question of
technicality or flexibility, but one of management. Supporting multiple
methods creates confusion (as has been seen many, many times on this
list), and also reduces supportable features to the least common set.

How many support questions and feature requests would be so much easier
if one only had to deal with svnserve?
