mixing linux and win32 svn client

I have a question about using both win32 and linux clients on the same
working copy. I know, it sounds scary so I wanted to ask the question.

First the back story. We are gradually rolling out subversion and some
developers tend to work on linux remotely via an ssh client and through
samba. This way they can still use their favorite Windows editors.

Are there any problems using the linux svn client (locally on linux) AND the
windows svn client (remotely on a mapped drive) on the same working copy
stored on a mapped drive? What about using TortoiseSVN on the mapped drive?

I read through the thread warning against sharing a repository on a mapped
drive, but this is different since I'd like to share the working copy.

Please CC me on any replies as I'm not subscribed.

Thanks,
brian
