Nasty? Slower? 'svnlook repos' and 'svn file:///repos' are no
different. They're both reading the repository database files
directly. I see no reason why one would be slower than the other, or
more "nasty".

Maybe Tim was thinking of http:// access, or using a working copy,
dunno. I don't even know which Tim this is. :-)
