Anyone got binaries for Apache httpd 2.1? (or does the mod_dav_lock trick work on Apache 2.0?)

As part of the SVN-SCC gateway I am working on, we need to support
locking in some way. The obvious way to do this is via mod_dav_lock, as
described in
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/html-chunk/apds02.html#svn-app-d-sect2.3

Unfortunately Apache httpd 2.1 is not even in beta, and so binaries are
not available, which makes things tricky for me. Getting Apache and
Berkeley DB in all the right versions and compiled is a distraction I
don't need right now, and by what I've seen on this list in the last few
months it is no small headache either.

Does anybody have usable binary versions of Apache 2.1, including
mod_dav_lock, which I might be able to use? I need to run either on
Debian Testing (sarge) or Win2k. A zipped up version of the Windows
c:\program files\Apache Group\Apache 2.1\... Would probably be perfect.

Or does anyone know anything about the Apache 2.1 timeframe - is it
likely to go into beta any time soon? By the looks of the status, it's a
way off yet.

TIA for any help or advice you can give.
