This could be very well explained if you did not explicitly turned on
deltification in 0.33.1. 0.35.1 has it enabled automatically within the software
(again after it had been turned off in 0.33.0).

Deltification ensures that only the differences between revisions are stored
in the database. What you see does not stem from the new database format.
