how to backup svn repos - hotcopy or dump?

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out the best way to backup our repository. I am
not sure if I should use hotcopy or dump.

If there is a system failure and a complete reinstall would I be able to
use hotcopy backup to restore? If so how do I do this? Just copy the
files back to the original repos position?

I know for dump I just use the load command.

thanks

Mark
