deltification questions

Hi all,

I have a repository, which has been created with subversion 0.33. I
didnt turn on deltification, and so it needs really much space.
Now I wanted to do deltification of this repo, and so I tried the
following:
(svn version 0.33 still)
svnadmin deltification ./SVN -r 0:45

the problem is, that this didnt work, as the process needed too much
memory (more than 1.7 Gbyte). My archive consists of
8 mysqldump generated files where 2 have 40Mb in size.
(it actually is a daily backup of my databases)

if I switch to svn 0.34, and do a dump and load on this repo,
will this then be deltificated ?

greetings
Martin
