Cannot find Berkeley DB?

From: Charles Crain <chux_at_houston.rr.com>

I am trying to build the latest Subversion, and when I configure it, it
tells me that it's confgiuring a client-only build because it cannot
find Berkeley DB. Well, I downloaded, built, and installed the latest
Berkeley DB to /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/ (the default), and supplied
that path with the --with-berkeley-db= argument to configure. But I am
still getting the warning that it can't find Berkeley DB and it's
configured for a client-only build. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
-Charles
