subscribing?

I have tried to subscribe to this list twice now, but I can't seem to
get on. The instructions at
http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList state to
send mail to users-subscribe@subversion.tigris.org , which I've done
twice, but in neither case did I get any kind of confirmation. Could
this be because I'm putting guido@python.org in the From line but I'm
not actually mailing from a machine in the python.org domain? Anyway,
is there an alternative way to subscribe? Please respond directly to
guido@python.org!
