Repo Browser "Up one folder" button does not use cache, using https://

I'm using https:// to connect to a repo.

I'm a few folders deep. Navigating using the folder view on the left hand
side is very fast. However, when I press "Up one folder" button on the top
right (next to the address bar) it takes a pretty long time to load - as
though it's running "refresh" as well as going up one folder. If I just
click the parent folder on the left hand side it loads instantly.

Is there an option to have that button prefer the cache?
