recursively updating properties and deleted directories

Hello!

I updated bugtraq properties recursively (via context menu -> Tortoise SVN -> properties, select bugtraq:url, edit, edit the URL, check "apply recursively" , OK)
The process got stuck at a directory that was deleted but the deletion was uncommitted.
("Subversion reported an error: Can't set properties on <path> invalid status for updating properties.")

Interestingly enough, the process continued, but not with the next directory, but with the next property.
This resulted in all properties updated in only a fraction of the directories.

Can "deleted" directories be skipped silently when updating properties?
Or can the process resume on the next directory?
Or should it terminate after the first error of this kind (and not try to update other properties) or at least offer to terminate?

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Dr. Hartmut Niemann
