Also, when you drag to the right, the double-clicked word *is* included in the selection. That to me seems inconsistent with dragging to the left. I realize this happens because the selection start point is set to the start of the marked word, but the user-experience is confusing.

As a note, this came up internally due to slightly sloppy double-clicking. If you move the mouse cursor a tiny bit when the button is down (causing a drag), the text you copy is generally not what you'd expect.
