We currently use the TortoiseSVN commit dialog's COM interface to interface with our issue tracker (JIRA) to allow users to choose the appropriate issue with which to associate a commit. This works great!

Additionally, we use bugtraq properties to allow the various TortoiseSVN dialogs to recognize out JIRA issue ids and turn them into live links. This also works great, except in one case.

This is perhaps most easily illustrated by example.

I use the COM interface to select a JIRA issue:

The issue id is correctly inserted into the Log Message box, but the regular expression is not correctly applied to extract the bug id:

If I then type anything in the Log Message box, the Log Message box correctly applies the regex:

Also, if I just type in SEPG-295 without using the COM interface, everything works fine.

My bugtraq properties are as follows.

The severity of the bug is low. The work-around is simply to start typing the log message in the Log Message box.?

?I'm afraid I won't be able to help with the bug, however: I've been looking for a plugin to integrate jira with torotoisesvn, but none of the plugin at https://tortoisesvn.net/issuetrackerplugins.html<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__tortoisesvn.net_issuetrackerplugins.html&d=CwMFaQ&c=ByDrzdYw8tO08sJlHDO_Vg&r=JPwps_w_Ex0bVv-qsjTfFGNjREL67Lf9cT5_KZRcYfQ&m=VNpEQvK4XSMKFHN7NAhOgU0mA4PpADxcv8MwrcSY3UA&s=r4u6xYWKuMA3chyhSB7EMklmoFNz9BrG9dOTMJKqBm8&e=> appear to work with current versions of Jira. This appears to be a new one, any chance you could share where you got it?
