RE: SVN checkou and SVN update - missing files

I tried with new clean machine without antivirus program. Doesn't help. It is a performance issue on our server (Transfering from 4000KB to 0KB in few seconds). I will try to find out what the problem is, but I still think that Tortoise could handle this sort of problems better. When transfer rate falls down to 0B for few seconds and than starts again, Tortoise finises with checkout or update and says everything is ok. But it lef lots of filles to download. When I repeate SVN update for let's say 10 times I get all od the files. I am searching for bottleneck on our server, but we do have 5 TB of repos and 500 users. And probably it is possible that lots of them use SVN (update, commit, ...) at the same time. Even script use it and runn all day long. But as I say performance issues aren't becouse Tortoise. I would just be happy if in thi case Tortoise would give me an error that connection was lost or something like that or to successfully continue and finish in one try. It is missleading for the users when t
hey pull a lot of fiels and this happens and they think everything is ok and that they got all of the files.

When we checkout or then update a repo that is large and the traffic on SVN server is very heavy it is almost every time that Tortoisse SVN says that the process is complete, but when I look at local files I see that lots of files are missing. I think that the problem is in our server performance, but would expect the Tortoise to give me some error that it couldn't pull all the files, or even better to reconnect and continue with the update. Developers are not happy, but for now I gave them instrucions to allways update at least two times, until the time it doesn't pull anything else. Than we know it is complete. I am trying to find out what is the problem with performance but would be glad if this is changed so that it gives error or even better reconnects and pulls down everything. Thanks.
