This is hard to investigate now.

I have checked out a new working copy now and it takes me almost a whole day
to reimport the contents into Unity.

Well, when I check out a new one, there is no errors anymore.

But some of my colleagues are still using 1.7.11, they have this problem but
they don't want to update their TSVN so that they can keep using their
working copy. If everyone checkout a new working copy, each one will take
almost one day to do this, we don't want this.

I am just wondering, what can be the root cause? How can I avoid problems
like this next time? Can I fix this without updating TSVN?

Thanks,
Chao
