Simon,
Thanks for the PDF.
It is not recovered from backup, I have seen some garbage code in the repository, maybe that is the root cause.
Well, I am updating my TSVN to 1.8.8 according to SVN users mailing list. I hope it can work.
Thanks,
Chao

Hi Chao,
Actually I'm not completely sure now that it is a server error.
But I did find this article:
It suggests that the working copy has newer revisions than the repository - was the repo recovered from backup?

Hi Simon,
Thanks very much! I have report this on subversion users mailing list.
How can I tell if the error is generated by the server or the client?
Thanks, Chao

Hi, guys.
I am using TortoiseSVN 1.8.7, Build 25475 - 64 Bit on my Win7. I happened to see this information while updating contents: “ra_serf: An error occurred during decompression”.
I have searched the source code of TortoiseSVN 1.8.7 but didn’t find any related code about it.
That error will be generated by the subversion library, or even the serf library, not by TSVN. You could try asking on the subversion users mailing list.
I can’t locate which commit cause the problem because there are about 100 commit and each commit has 40-50M and plenty of files.
Can you guys give me some hints? What caused this error? What can I do to fix it?
By the way, one of my collage is using TortoiseSVN 1.7.11 on Win7, he has this problem: “REPIRT of ‘/svn/st/!svn/vcc/default’: Could not read chunk size: Secure connection truncated”. Maybe those two error reports has the same root cause. Also, I can’t find the related source code.
That error is generated by the server, not the client. Again, the subversion users mailing list is what you need.
Guys, help me with that, please!
Thanks, Chao
Simon
