Yeah. Just a faster mechanism to accomplish something we use when committing merged bugfixes across branches, usually with drag-n-drop, and sometimes even the command line with an asterisk delimiter.

I'm very familiar with changelists - they're fine and useful for sustained projects, but they're more trouble than necessary at times, especially when simply committing bugfix changes which I want tied together with the same revision across multiple release branches.

The advantage is simply speed - no messing with checkboxes for unrelated changes. I'm not talking about temporary residue from builds - we always set properties to ignore those.
