Can't diff directories

From: Rowan Sylvester-Bradley <rowan_at_sylvester-bradley.org>

I have recently upgraded to version 1.8.7.25475. I am finding that I can't easily find changes. I'm sure I used to be able to right click on the root of my working directory, select Check for Modifications, and find all the directories and files where the working version had been changed from the latest checked in version. Now when I do it, I get a list of changed second level directories. If I double click one of these, I get an error mesage saying TortoiseMerge can't diff directories. How do I find all the changed files in a Working Directory tree now?

If I can no longer do this easily, this seems a serious reduction in TortoiseSVN's functionality.

Or am I doing something wrong?

Or am I remebering wrong what it used to do?

Thanks - Rowan
