Yes, it is especially handy for quickly skimming incoming messages without
having to click around (is it work related or list related or is it a
topic I'm interested in?) Sorting into folders or enabling a filter isn't
always an optimal workflow for users of different email applications (e.g.
gmail). It is very rare to find a mailing list that doesn't use [subject
line] so we tend to appreciate like behavior between lists.

I think this is a reasonable request.
