RE: tortoise with windows 8.1

When I perform a "Diff"
A message box appears TortoiseMerge x64, With the message TortoiseMerge x64 has stopped working. there is also a bar "sending crash data. This goes away after a few minutes.

When I perform a "Diff with previous version"
Two message boxes appear in sequence, the first is very quick

The second message box "TortoiseMerge" Getting file <filename revision Number.
with the message TortoiseMerge has stopped working.
windows can check on line for a solution, with the option to check for solution or Close the program.
