Thanks Ben, that looks like a great suggestion. I've just tried doing a few updates this way. Technically, it does allow me to do what I want. That's definitely progress, but it's not easy with the large number of folders I've got.

I'm now resigned to having to get the whole thing down, but do it on a physical machine (rather than a virtual one) where the file sizes aren't so important.

Looks like an overnight 20GB download in my near future, if my other thread gives me a satisfactory answer :)
