RE: subwcrev crash after replacing $WCREV$ in UTF-16 encoded file

Creating a new email instead of replying: Thunderbird seems to have
problems with encoding on that thread.

What I replied to before (which nobody can read): I've opened an issue
for this and I'm working on it, but it will take me a while to figure
out - heap corruptions are not easy to find.
