You should be able to, if you delete the ".svn" folder as well when
you clear out the last one.

But, if you're checking out a different path in the same repository,
it can be easier to use the "Switch" command instead of a manual
delete+checkout process. That way, if the two repository locations
share common ancestry, you can actually keep any local modifications
you've made as well.
