Feature Request: Configuration To Ignore Ancestry By Default

Our standard project directory structure currently includes a branch here: "/branches/LargeDirectoryAvoidance". The name of this branch suggests its purpose.

With the new version of SVN, however, I can no longer switch to this branch without selecting the "Ignore Ancestry" option in the "Switch" dialog.

I can fully understand the reasoning for making this the default behaviour, from a purist's point of view. However, for some of us, it would be less inconvenient if we could reverse the default. I've seen a few discussions fly past related to this issue.

What I'd propose is a checkbox on one of the "Dialogs" setting screens to set "Ignore Ancestry" by default. Then those of us who are NOT purists could do our possibly dangerous behaviour at our leisure.
