1.8.0 bug - The PROPFIND response did not include the requested properties

I am unable to connect or do anything with an existing repository since
upgrading to 1.8.0.

If I try and commit I get:

Commit failed (details follow):
The PROPFIND response did not include the requested properties

If I try and browse I get:
Unable to connect to a repository at URL
 'https://studio401.svn.bontq.com/Rutm/trunk'
The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found.

The providers of the repository have also confirmed that after installing
1.8.0 on XP, 7 & 8 they get the same errors.

The server is Apache/2.2.21 (Unix) DAV/2 SVN/1.6.11

Any ideas please?
