If you select the "directories" checkbox, then any directories which
have been added or removed, or have had their properties modified,
will show in the list. If you deselect "directories", then even
directories which have been modified will not be shown.

Similarly, if "files" is selected, and a file has been modified,
deleted, or added, or if its properties have been modified, then that
file will be shown. Deselecting "files" will not show any files even
if they are modified.

This all works for me. Does something not work for you?
